She was left as an offering to this clingy bullshit god. She couldn't stand his clinginess and starved herself to death to get away from him.
But he kept reincarnating her to make her suffer for rejecting him.
And now Adrian sacrificed himself for one chance at freeing her from this arsehole's cycle of perpetual misfortune, but it is for nothing. Stalksker survived.
And Jasper flaked out for some reason. But then I guess the protagonist is a complete drama-magnet and not everyone has the backbone to put up with that bullshit.

But seriously... what the fuck is that ending?
She already died once to get away from that arsehole who has been tormenting her for literally lifetimes in retribution... and now suddenly she claims she loves him?
What the unholy fuck is that about?

Damnit.

It doesn't make any sense why she'd be happy with this ending. She should hate this bastard with every single fibre of her being.
Is she just playing along in order to kill him when he least expects it? If so, why would the story end here?
It makes no sense.
