Hmmm.... Pepeck is pretty good. Not only the house he offer is payed by the potion sale, the house is also a property that is hard to sell, and just pricey enough for MC to only be able to rent it instead of buy it. So not only Pepeck got MC goodwill and the money he payed went back into his pocket, he also get a "free" maintenance & renovation for the house along with a constant income from the rent. In the case MC moves, he could sell/rent the house at a higher price since there will be new facilities (if MC did renovate and remodel the house, e.x. warehouse into workshop) and everything is has been repaired by MC.

One of the things I hate the most about isekai stories is that MCs always translate the local currency to yen... like why? I also dislike a bit how other stories make the currency just yen in all but name.
