The guy is scum for doing that but imho she's as much if not more at fault than him.
From what we have seen, she barely talked about her own feelings. Communication is key, people. I don't know how many times I've written this.

I've lived long enough to know that if the woman makes more than the man in the relationship it's not gonna end well. Either the guy becomes a cuck or they break up, many such cases. I don't think the reactors to your comment understood. I don't think @thatmanthatthat is saying that the woman "cannot" or "should not" make more than the man, it's just an observation that it tends to work out that way. I've heard several stories of husbands being super supportive of their ambitious wives, either doing a less-lucrative job they enjoy, or being househusbands. But I've also heard several stories about marriages becoming unstable because the husband got weird about income. Us men are generally taught that we need to be the bread-winner of the house so, when the wife becomes the bigger bread-winner, it makes the guys that gauge their sense of self-worth on that feel like they've lost their place in the house. It's not a good thing, just a sad reality. Yeah, it sucks but society (or whatever).

Man, what a rollercoaster of a manga, it was such a chaotic read. What I expected was a normal good, wholesome read turned out to hit me in the deeps, man, I don't even know how one recovers from this, it's horrifying that a lot of people have to go through this, both sides. Kinda sad that it didn't end wholesome.
