Yeah, I can see that. I thought the story would be interesting, but it then slapped 2+ sex scenes that weren't the most necessary in every chapter. That, and the weird-ish timing killed it for me.

nah, I find doujinshi boring. You're not invested in the characters because the chapter is pretty much all about sex. I mean, this manga isn't particularly good but it's still more enjoyable than doujinshi.
