The Japanese idea of Christian "lore"always makes me shake my head. They love using the reversal of angels and demons trope to make the angels the villains and demons just peaceful misunderstood magical creatures. You know what would really shake things up? Actually using angels as holy beings and demons as incarnations of utter evil and hatred. It's actually become rare for anyone to do that.
Before anyone jumps up my ass and starts preaching or lecturing me, let me tell you, I don't care. So don't bother, please. Anyway, it doesn't bother me on a moral or ethical level. Just on the level of it's a trope that's lost it's novelty and gotten overused.

That's a fascinating idea. I don't believe I've ever read a novel like that. Not going to lie, though, I kinda like being on the Demon's side, It's an amusing thought to have. It's the basis of my name actually. Not gonna preach you, though. Can't say I give a damn either

It's more of the 'Let's make angels as fallible and sinful as humans, but everyone knows demons to be sinful, so change nothing about that' mindset I believe.
