I've seen some clip from the anime
showing two of them fell asleep at some garden, I don't know if they just asleep or hinting that they passed away
so what was it?

This is some deeply wholesome love.

I think that nowadays relationships like this are getting less common. I've been married for 8 years and apparently, doing little favors for your wife, means she's got blackmail on you, or if she for you, then she's treating you too well.

Apparently there's couples who've been together for 20+ years that don't even do something as simple as, "Hey I'm at XYZ cafe, do you want me to bring you a drink/snack?"

Couples who've been together for and have kids together, but can't stand each other.

I see that shit and I hope my wife and I don't end up like that but damn it's depressing.

Probs why stories like Jii-san and Baa-san are so good.

Kindness and simple, small love has vanished from this world. Nowadays it's all doom and gloom and everyone must have some ulterior or dark motives to do anything resemble a good thing to help each other. It's depressing but that mindset is increasingly getting more hold in the mind of many people
