.....uh guys I think he's trying to solve a murder that he commits later in his future.

That would actually be an interesting twist - though there have been a good few attacks that were too quick for him to respond to, such as the sword saint's attacks, arrows from blonde elf, attacks from the transforming slime demon (who is what I'm suspecting).

If it were him himself, it'd be interesting if he was trying to set things up so he'd meet Fury, and come to the elf village, to actually rescue it from the REAL threat - but I think that's too much time shenanigans for any author.

A locked room mystery, that can't be instantly solved by a timestop? Interesting. Sekai being frozen with a freeze spell by Otomi in order to simulate a cyro tube was an interesting way to get back to the present, but all that did was kill him lol. His plan of going to the Nether Gate was interesting, but he didn't have any time to do it anyway. So perhaps a straightforward death was the best thing to do.
