@Duainfey, So far, most of the chapters have been quick paced. The author packs a lot in a single chapter. This chapter, for instance, the main point that the author wanted to establish was that Alicia will be praying for 100 days. The rest is just filler. I think that the "save Jessie" side quest would have taken a few more pages to gracefully conclude it, but maybe the author wouldn't have been able to ready the chapter before the deadline, or the editor requested to shorten the chapter.
