Huh, this is the first time we've seen Suiboku flip out not in a flashback. And it's for being...underestimated? Feels like a kinda...extreme reaction.

It makes more sense why he secluded himself, and why he finds Sansui to be more "perfected" than himself.

Then orders Sansui to take his gloves and throw them in the kings face, and kill everyone who stands in his way. And he does.

That's why in the LN, the king is so desperate he's willing to ally with the inhuman ancient ones. Not because he's worried about being found out, but because his country has literally been destroyed with corpses still rotting on the road and the castle still smelling of blood.

Light Novel Sansui is extremely Lawful Neutral. They sanitized him real bad in the manga.

Suiboku is what happens when you give a child a nuke. He's 1500 years old but since he stopped aging he's still a child mentally.

Does anyone know how different the plot is between the WM and LN? Compared to the LN, it feels like the manga only keeps the characters and the title. I don't get why the story is being rushed. There's only one volume of the LN left. The manga is its own thing, but it leaves out a lot of the plot.

Yeah, they really did, though they didn't shy away from showing him killing entire groups of people earlier in the manga.
I wonder if there was a change in the editorial staff, or something on the publisher's side.

p.s the items suiboku makes are coiled peaches/peach of immortality. which in small dose invigorate the body making you look youthful. and divine ginseng fruit. which heals missing limbs and diseases.(or the other way around) they are references to the Journey to the west. where a immortal grew a baby shaped fruit.

He's not pissed just because they're underestimating him, but that they're doing it to the point that they were most likely kill everyone at the wedding to hide the kidnapping from the other countries.

TBH, their reason for trying to abduct Suiboku is pretty reasonable.

Even in real life, if there is a god who guard the fountain of youth is exposed, people would try everything they can to get that.
