It feels like she is spreading his fame and also potentially gaining him new disciples as well as building an army. If nothing comes of this then it would be a waste.
He has two disciples and its probably easier to see how is technique applies to different people.
It seems stupid that he told them everything though because now the bad guys know what to expect.
