Because she's really strong? She was really pushing the furry guy who's considered a broken character in this world (MC and his master are beyond broken) and decapitating someone isn't exactly an easy thing to do to someone who can go blow to blow with you.

The way the princess fought her by doing damage in a way that wasn't too obviously lethal (no decapitation attempts or stabs through the hearts) was the best way as she could wear out the regeneration of the opponent without them realizing it until it was too late and the damage they ignored was too much.

@ocdmn I suppose. For a group of girls who seem to look down on everyone it seems counterintuitive to not bring your own healer though. Like even if silver-haired girl has super regen the other girls don't seem to. Her wound doesn't even seem as deep as it could be (or maybe this author just avoids drawing it as gore-y as it should look?), and none of them even have a potion or other healing item that could stave off the bleeding, and they don't even bother trying to bandage and put pressure on the wound...

is that Pandora's wielder (the armor) doesn't participate at all on the war, and doesn't encounter the other characters. he only appear in small parts at the end of the volumes.

Sansui is also more interesting, in my opinion. he is still overpowered, but he has entire sections where he teaches people his fighting style (not just the shadow guy or Saiga), and his pupils, while not even coming close to his level of skill, can become more and more powerful (if i remember correctly, his pupils are fighting an army that outnumbers them 2~3 times, and they win).

the light novel is also more bloody. in the first volume, when sansui fights the bandits in the forest, he leaves one alive, tied up, to be eaten by wolves, on the orders of his mistress. he also casually mentions to her father after the decapitation of the army about gibbeting, and they proceed to gibbet all the heads.

for the longest time she have lived, her Berserk state is always on and it basically acts like a watered down Madness Enhancement, which still erodes the mind of the user which in this case, Ran and is basically an uncontrolled liability due to it.

And this is the reason why Sansui is totally onboard and willingly to be the one to off her without remorse nor minding what other people have to think about it. Sansui is just being held back by House Sopeid as they're gonna show their Kiritsugu side by weighing the pros and cons about this.

@Algoz yeah... despite the series' name, the novel's really a fun read...

So basically the trade off form having a basically immortal body is that when you run out of magic you can't heal yourself naturally. Pretty balanced 8/10, mana consumption too low could use a nerf.
