So... Both sides make their goals clear, and then their methods speak the complete opposite. The Queen is trying to put the legally unqualified Toun on the Throne, by entering Beast-possession warriors in the tournament. And the Princess is trying to uphold the law that requires royalty to achieve beast posession to ascend the throne, by utterly trashing beast-warriors with other rare arts.

A lot of people forgot (me included until I read a couple of chapters back) that these martial art girls are powered up by the sage relic. The divine possession doesn't normally took any damage from normal weapon that is why they are so shaken rn.
I'm wondering if they can only transform into cheetah? It is strong but surely that is the wrong animal to use in head to head fight right?
This series is not interesting enough for me to re-read the whole manga again to find the answers lol

The first fight in this chapter was a leopard (Africa) or a jaguar (S.America) due to the lack of sun glare stripes on the face. She called the fighter of the previous chapter "sister" and they share first names. This means the first animal is a black panther which is just a black coating of the previously mentioned big cats for either continent (not a separate species).

The cheetah fight was disappointing. Artist didn't draw any flash step from either side and the "swaying" was portrayed as just illusion magic instead of a martial art.

When they first appeared and fought, they were kinda weak because 'not enough training'. They did later return to thier village and continue thier training, but we have no idea for how long as the mangaka doesn't give any indication to how much time has passed in the story. I mean, we go from the MC and wife being really awkward about doing the deed, to a handful of chapters later she looks like she almost ready to give birth at any moment.

Chapter 72 started with a 6 month time skip. So Brauer having a bump in the third trimester makes sense. Once was all MC needed.

Right, seeing everyone talking about the fight itself. Having NOT read the LN/WN, I can only assume that the remainder of the fights will either be one-sided like the ones shown. What I am genuinely curious about, is what will happen to this desert kingdom when the companions of the male harem hero, learn that there may potentially be relatives/clansmen held as slaves and forced to buff their opponents during these fights?
