I actually think she has the best chance. On reason being that she's not in the original trio. If any of Akira, Kanae or Shigure wins, it will sort of feel unfair for the other 2. If Sumika ends up being chosen, it's sort of fair for everyone.

Also she's Fumi-tan herself, though maybe that will end up biting her in the ass. I can see it clearly as day Kotaro saying that he could never date Fumi-tan because that would defile her, or because Fumi-tan belongs to everyone or some crap like that.

That said, my favorite is still that one from the part time job that only appeared for 1 or 2 chapters. lol

I've had similar thoughts, it's hard to say who from the bullies should win and Sumika might be the answer. And being Fumi tan could easily turn into and handicap for her.

Still, it's hard to imagine the bullies losing, especially after the author gave them support from Kotaro's mom. In that case, Sumika's role would be to give him the chance to be with his percect girl, only to realize that's not what he really wants.

Of course, that's assuming that the plan is not to solve everything with and open ending. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

It seems that the author is pushing for Sumika ending. I'm disappointed in the development since the setting is about childhood friend fighting over him and dude getting back at them. Sumika isn't childhood friend nor the MC will challenge her in anything.
