Didn't it continue and "finish" (in a very open-ended way) with To-Love Ru Darkness?
Yes. I consider it all one story though since it literally was just picking up where the first part stopped (due to the authors then pending divorce). Part of the reason that Darkness was so risque was due to the author being depressed and angry over the whole situation in his life and he set out to get away with as much as he could to vent his frustration. Naturally, his artist had no issues with drawing things even more on the edge, which is why we got some great hidden shots like the faucet scene with his favorite Kyouko. I agree the move to a monthly helped the story a lot which is ironic because it was also done to help the author deal with real life at the time.
That’s my clue to get the fuck out. This series has been going nowhere, and even the Big Anime Tiddies™ can’t keep me there eternally when there are so many more interesting series…
