Okay girls, just tell him honestly that you've always loved him. That you were immature bullies because you were stupid kids. Apologize and let things settle. That might just help him move on and possibly see you as more than horrible people
I mean, he knows they aren't horrible people.

He just thinks they get their shits and giggles out of outcompeting him and then doing humiliating things to him later. Which doesn't make them horrible people all around, just horrible people when interacting with him in a competitive context specifically (kind of a distinction he has demonstrated at different points in this series).

Unfortunately, I also encountered this insane leap in reasoning irl. Though in Kotaro's case, I guess it's half-true since his first love was a guy all along.
Same, but because im a black guy saving myself for marriage was considered lame...

I’m not convinced of it just yet. Didn’t we see what looked like some breast on the teacher when they leaned forward in one of the previous chapters?
I just wish a manga followed through on punishing Tsundere behavior like this.

Another manga with a similar twist is “the dreaming boy is not a realist” where a dude finally treats Tsunderes as they should be treated. Just take what they say at face value and be openly disgusted and move on.

If you have to try and prize out the hidden intentions through intentionally vague and hurtful comments. Shocker, people don’t take it very well.
I saw the anime. I really liked it actually.
