@pyrolynx71 what manga were you reading? The Fox CAN die by votes. Not only is this the rule in the REAL wolf game, but this is also the rule in this manga. The only thing different about the Fox is that the Fox can't be killed by Wolves. However, the Fox can STILL be killed by the Villagers. You got your information wrong.

@doodleboy i guess i misread some of the explanations. i’ve never heard of a wolf game with a fox involved, so all i had to go on was the explanation from this manga. and the first chapter was initially machine translated, so it was hard to make sense of it.

Of course, this ended as I thought it would, but the ending is not terrible and, in fact, made me think it was the deserved ending

some might say it was a bit of a stretch but, in my eyes, the "fuck you I'll bring you down with me and ruin your plans" end was the most plausible of the three entries

the roles that were never mentioned and basically ignored, it wasn't really a deterrent for reading; this is literally a werewolf game, so you will never know everyone's roles when playing or even until the end of the game, so it stays "true" to the original material

Overall, not a terrible read. In my opinion, it is an above average story and a decent social deduction game adaptation that beats it's predecessors by a landslide, thus, I think a 7.5 would be an accurate rating, but as I can't put a decimal in MangaDex, and it isn't quite an 8, I'll reluctantly give it a 7.

It wasn’t horrible but I’ve read all three books hoping to find answers but It’s all rather inconsistent.

the screens showing how all the players are connected? Sick. But then they never talk about it again. Kill the person you vote for with your own hands? Ok, next round it’s all good you don’t have to do it the collar rips them. The collar rips their head off? Well now it shoots acid. Who are the people controlling it behind the scene? Do we never get their perspective or why they’re doing it or how they’re connected if at all?

It’s just sub par.

ALSO ESPECIALLY CRAZY FOX: wh-?? Like nothing is explained?? Just cause you throw some messed up shit in there doesn’t make it any good??

They added sexual violence and gore and a new exciting character but there’s literally no point?? Like it doesn’t add anything to the story. And the ending was...god awful. So she just lays down after everyone dies?? Cause the pretty boy didn’t like her she’s just gonna vibe next to his corpse?? What??
