So childhood friend was basically every ntr heroine ever who "cant live without senpai dick anymore". Sucks for her its blatantly obvious she's gonna get abandoned the moment senpai finds new meat

I honestly wasn’t planning on reading this since it’s obviously the purest form of low effort rage bait with characters so bland you could find them in a body builders diet plan, but it’s kinda heartwarming to see so many people gather around and cheer for revenge while fully acknowledging this story is trash

Probably won’t be reading more but I hope everyone enjoys their time with it

That recovery from the 1st chapter was needed and it started really nicely.
Gonna read this just to see the karma cause i love some of it. Especially that soccer ace douchebag dont care about the ex tbh shes suffering already on the inside anyways.
Lets see how mc begins his 2nd life along with the New girl.

I feel like the author was sick of ntr scumbags getting away it so he decided to pick up a pen. Most of his works follows this premise, man gets cheated on by wife or girlfriend and gets done dirty, depression sets in for a few days, then his life does a complete 180 and cheaters receive very harsh Karma.
I think I'll have to check out the other stories then. I love seeing people suffer horrible, crushing regret for their actions. Usually they get away with it while the one they hurt is the one who suffers.

Unfortunately, some people think that girls or women are never wrong, are automatically victims even if they are the aggressors and excusing their actions as 'mistakes'.
ChatGPT dances around with it's answer to "how many women lie about sexual assault" but concludes that of those case reported to police between 2% to 10% are found to be false, with the most common finding about 5%. A 2018 report found that a sample of Los Angeles Police case identified 4.5% were deliberate lies after in-depth review.

No I think I would feel bad for them.

Punishment has to fit the crime. Excessive, undue consequences that makes the adults look like hypocrites and idiots is neither compelling nor interesting. It is not their job (the teachers specifically) to play favorites. These are children first and foremost, yet from what I've seen from the spoilers, don't these idiots push that kid to do exactly what you're claiming would have happened to MC? Amusing shade of double standards.

I'll read this because it's funny revenge slop, but it is in no way justifiable. Like slapping a first offense 15 year-old shoplifter with immediate expulsion and blacklisting them from from any decent university and occupation for the rest of their lives. Absurd.
Bullying someone to the point of suicide isn't shoplifting. Schools try to ignore bullying so they won't have to enforce national and regional anti-bullying laws (including compulsory police coordination in some cases) because of the scandal, but if the bigger scandal is ignoring it then guess what will happen. Took a peek at the latest chapter, this highlights why I think some of the chapters are just needless revenge porn.

Why will a lawyer go out of the way to make their client feel bad? I can understand the part where he tells Kondo how his father's assets have been frozen. The police and persecutor cannot just keep someone locked up for longer because they do not like his attitude (the lawyer should have objected, failure #1), and bail isn't just "paid"/is more of a collateral: and odds is that someone out there would be willing to be the bondsman (failure of the lawyer #2: i think Kondo could have gotten a bail). I know this is going against the narrative, but the guy is still underage and it would be rare for them to have the entire book thrown at them.

Then the lawyer tells him how his victim won a literature award by writing a web novel about the case, and even praised the MC for winning it at 17 which is the youngest ever. This just feels like unneeded info and being used as a medium to further step on Kondo (failure #3).

Yes, Kondo is a piece of shit, but the lawyer is just being used as a medium to step on Kondo and have failed their duty. A defense lawyer has a clear job (else they should have declined/withdrew from the case). In fact, having such a shit lawyer is grounds for Kondo to appeal for a retrial...

This also does not serve to move the story forward in meaningful way, I guess we did learn his mother have sort of given up on him (but at least did hire him a shitty lawyer with her own money).
From the same chapter at the end.

“Why would you even show me something like this…”

“Don’t you get it? With your assault victim gaining this kind of attention, your case will soon come under public scrutiny too. When that happens, Aono Eiji-kun will receive a flood of sympathy, and your position will become even worse. That’s why I’m telling you to be a little prepared.”
Most defense lawyers know that a lot of their clients are scum. Some can't take it and become prosecutors.

The game of life is hard to play
I'm gonna lose it anyway
The losing card I'll someday lay
So this is all I have to say
Suicide is painless
It brings on many changes
And I can take or leave it if I please
I loved MASH. Watched some of it first run. Yes, I'm old.

It's worth noting that the better aspect of the revenge in this story is that the MC isn't the one directly involved in enacting it but rather he's the last one in a series of abuse perpetrated by the douchebag and his supporters and people act to help him because he was just a genuine nice individual. His friend, the teachers and some adults and even his own family. So this is a "power fantasy" as some call it because turns out people that care about him actually do things to help instead of just staying neutral or outright hateful too like in other revenge stories that we are meant to believe are more "realistic". Come on now.
See, that's the part I just cannot get past. I get that this is a "turn your brain off, we are just reveling in the absolute disproportionate destruction of these teenagers to satisfy our bloodlust" kinda thing, but even a minimum of scrutiny makes this thing fall apart.

How am I supposed to believe that Eiji was so relentlessly bullied and isolated, to the point his home and family business was threatened and he was driven to contemplate suicide in 2-4 days...but at the same time, he is this golden boy who has endless support from every corner of the city and everyone vouches for his good character, yet for this brief moment, none of this support and affirmation was anywhere to be seen.

Am I supposed to be happy and cheer along, feeling vindicated as Miyuki and others are driven to suicide too? I find it hard to go along with it when it makes so little sense and everything is beyond farcical. How did she turn out this way, when her mom and Eiji's family are all pseudo-angels? And again, how am I supposed to feel good about her getting thrown into the streets by these nice people who weren't there for a couple days when Eiji was agonizing but suddenly showed up to make his life idyllic?

Bruh, I feel like I am going crazy here. Maybe it's just not the type of story for me but I have enjoyed revenge fantasies before, I understand the concept of low-tier stories meant to satisfy a base desire or whatnot. But this...this I do not understand.

How am I meant to celebrate such disproportionate reactions to nonsensical actions? How am I meant to feel good about myself when I'm doing the equivalent of the antagonists of this story?

Why am I meant to be happy with the adults for being competent when they were nowhere to be seen when both Ai and Eiji were about to kill themselves on their own but came down like a million ton of bricks on Miyuki and co? Like Eiji's mom, why am I supposed to be happy when she dresses Miyuki down when she knew she was cheating and did nothing about it, just kept it to herself until she could verbally lash her and further isolate her? Isn't she supposed to be like a daughter to her?

I'm sorry guys, I want to enjoy it with all of you too, but the plot is just too nonsensical and the message is way too hypocritical for me to just let go and enjoy the carnage...

So just saying, as someone who read the novel and didn't like it much... I feel I should give a warning about it.

This is a Revenge story, for very very angry readers that rejoice in seeing endless punishment.

While the two masterminds in particular are very bad people, the revenge is... relentless. The childhood friend is trash yes... the revenge on her is relentless too.

I'm not excusing them. It is their fault and they should certainly be punished, but these people will be treated worse than serial killers. Everyone will pile on the despise and punishment.
The message is that these people will be in despair for the rest of their lives, their lives ruined, and they should keep despairing because they don't even have the right to suicide.

To frame what I said... the story is not clear at first but the bullying lasted for like 2-3 days. Yes, the bullying lasted 2-3 days. Because of that tens of people will be expelled from school, and some will be disowned/ their parents will give up on them. For having bullied a stranger for two days.

I wanted to write it so that you will be warned. If you want a... realistic punishment you will not find it here, they will be treated as scum of society that cannot be redeemed in a hundred years.
Show me the school that will expel 20 students with a perfect record for 2 days of bullying. Show me the families that will abandon their teenager child for 2 days of bullying....

So, if you're here for the revenge, you might like this story. If not, it's tooo overblown in my opinion.

After that, there's very much wish fulfillment where the MC will move on to his perfect future life and get together with the heroine with plans of marriage after like two weeks. Which yes, it's instant-ramen like love. But well, that's another matter.
Do they segs? The MC and the new FMC?

I'm not exactly up to date as I stopped reading. As of chapter 200-something, not sex yet.
But keep in mind the story timeline is super compressed. Chapter 200 is at most two weeks from now. And I'm not joking, it takes 200 chapters to cover less than two weeks.
In fact I don't know why the author did this. It feels very unnatural how quickly the MC recovers and moves on. It's a strange choice, frankly.
