Suzuka is blameless and the MC should be a donor for her, if only because its the moral thing to do. But this chapter only shows that the bio dad is a huge piece of shit - the story even explicitly mentions that he paid Takeru's bills to encourage MC to be a donor. The bio dad used connections and power to leverage his daughter, ruining thr chances of other potential actors... like he sucks.

And from the last page it looks like this supreme dickhead is going to get a redemption arc because he did all this "out of love" despite abandoning his first child. And even if people's theory that the mom lied, he still abandoned MC because he's a cheating POS that had a child from an affair. Ugh, this whole arc leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Author trying real fucking hard to shine a good light on bad people. Seriously, wtf am I even reading at this point.
This is peak Japanism just because the guy is your biological dad he's owed respect and forgiveness no matter what he does, it's fucking ridiculous, he's lucky that as a species we have a huge soft spot for kids because i can see the argument to not help him.

I was including Nitta-san child-actor-career destroying stalker woman in my statement, but sure.

I think the ideal line, if I were the author, is for Ryouta to agree to be a donor for Suzuka.

And that's it. He denounces his sperm donor, he denounces his mother, tells them both to never involve themselves in his life again, and that he will never see Suzuka again. Being a donor is a one-time thing, and this is single procedure is all he will agree to.

The dad is a shitbag. I don't care about Nitta's speech about how he "protects what he wants to protect even if he has to be the bad guy", that's just him being selfish. He already destroyed Ryouta's family, on the basis of not wanting children—only to ask his unwanted child to save his "wanted" one for whom he destroyed the dreams of other kids.

A man like that is owed nothing, and Suzuka should be saved only because she's fully blameless in all of this.

But I hope Ryouta reads both him and the mother the riot act and shames them into perpetuity, holding the fact he saved the child they wanted over their heads.

Honestly I'd go a step further and have Ryouta spread the truth around publicly and shame the two of them on a macro level, given how Japan operates on social image. But that's a scale of melodrama that runs counter to the tone of this series, so.

And so much drama—what crap. This author isn't all there; I only watch this because of Yuina.

Ryota não merecia isso — o que o Japão está pensando? Aquele pai desprezível não merece perdão; ele é um adúltero desprezível que chantageia o protagonista — que escroto.

Just spent the last hour catching up on the last 10 chapters and...what the fuck? Where did my diabetically cute incest manga go? It somehow turned into this drama-filled "everyone's parents knew each other in school" manga and now I don't know whether to start singing "It's a small world after all" or start a family/relationship graph.

It's not Japanism, it's moral. Every person makes a mistake, and if they're willing to apologize and atone for it, we should give them the chance no matter how annoying and painful it is for us… And yeah, it can be really painful…
