Honestly enjoyed this chapter way more than the previous one. Although the tired "oh we're at a hot spring, time for every single girl in the immediate radius to turn into a raging lesbian and grope each other as sexily as possible cause it's just gals being pals" trope made me kinda just glaze my eyes over that section, even when Miyuki came in.

Ryota was WAY more likable this chapter than the last one, and Akira is still Akira and getting to see her do anything gives me extra life points. I do like how the two are being more honest with each other, or i should say AKIRA is being honest and they're addressing all the build up to this trip only to get...what we've gotten so far. Although.....i could feel my eyes roll back into my skull when they started doing all that build up for that gaming bait n switch at the end.

I get it, they're definitely not doing the hanky panky anytime soon, and honestly they shouldn't go THAT far so quickly, even if we are in the Reiwa era. But all that OBVIOUS build up for a hit you over the head obvious bait n switch just made me roll my eyes and sigh, dude. But getting to see Gamergirl Akira does ease the befuddlement and make things much easier to digest.

And that last second cliff hanger at the end definitely was nice to see Akira's flirty-kusogaki-teasing side come out again, although....given the series in question here...i'm starting to have doubts on whether or not this will actually lead to any SUBSTANTIAL developments, or if it's just ANOTHER bait n switch into a gag.

Cautious optimism....that is all i feel. Alongside my undying love for Akira of course.
