The only other person there I could think he'd mean was Iris? It's been a while but I didn't think he was that close to her, right?

Page 5 in the first internal dialog Ue box mentions "char and my big sister," but I can't remember who his "big sister" is. The one princess is technically his sister too but is younger than him. The only other person there I could think he'd mean was Iris? It's been a while but I didn't think he was that close to her, right?

Why do you think Marianne is his younger sister? Isn't she older than Raiuss and Haruto? She's in the academy, but didn't just start like Haruto did.
Furthermore, she has a different mother than Haruto and Raiuss. She isn't a bastard or the child of a concubine afaik, so if Giselotte is the current queen, so I'm assuming her mom must've been a previous queen.

Too bad the mark of royalty disappears so easily. Could've had some conflict around a possible reveal if Rauss notices it on Haruto's chest. Either way, I'm still hopeful for the sibling reveal one day!

The princess is the older sister. She is a child from the King's late Queen(presumably die), she is only half sibling to the MC and the prince. If you go to early chapters, you can see the current Queen is not on good term with her just because she is not her daughter.

Eh, like I said, it's been a while. I'd always assumed when the two just showed up one day that they were born after him and that's as far as I thought about her. Maybe I need to reread the series again, see if she's more plot-relevant than I'd given her credit for

That's also true. But at least initially she was hoping for the prince to take over the palace as her puppet, and he also initially resigned his fate to be as such(not shown in the manga, but was told in the novel).
