@nikonekonya Considering the way our world worked, its a pretty close mirror. Like woman didn't serve in any real capacity in our militaries until WW1.
Women not allowed to join the guild? No wonder they can't even get halfway to the demon king. We all know that a harem is needed for the strongest of adventurers.
@nikonekonya Misogyny is one thing, but misogyny didn't start to get stamped out without women doing something for themselves despite discrimination.
I have somewhat little sympathy here for her,
she had a conversation with the isekai hero guy about bringing modern knowledge to another world, bounced off her thinking about wanting to essentially escape her current life. Then she actually gave such a new technique to that bard, who clearly went on to profit from it. And ends off her thinking wow too bad she's not such a luckyh person to live off royalties.
Basically, she's not really willing to step anywhere outside her comfort zone or take risks but has a pessimistic and almost jealous opinion of people who do. It's pretty easy for her to find an excuse to not go any further and dress it up in her holier-than-thou attitude.
The girls working with her are much more admirable, despite their generic characters. She even has the benefit of not living a life of social pressure and discrimination against women before this, giving her a greatly different perspective, yet her worldview is even more unmotivated then her colleagues.
She should level up a bit more by selling herself and then look into learning whatever passes for black magic there, trying to move up the ladder in that society is a fool's game, better to become powerful enough to attain independence and move outside the human settlement, maybe find a home with the demons or create one in the forest.
That she would gain skills by doing it with men. This sounds a bit like Keiagura from the great revenge manga. 😁
Other than that I don't think she knows about survival skills. Also she probably can't be a healer, because how would she fuck some priestesses? Vacuum? eh...
@Huapollon That we know of. Also the demon king destroying the world seems to be a very WW1-ish level threat, so I still don't see why the humans are so insistent on keeping women out of even supporting roles like manufacturing. No wonder the demon king hasn't been defeated yet seeing as they're refusing to do things based on merit and just see women=ho, get out.
