I don't understand if this was this strange originally or if there's a slight problem with the translation. Because a few parts here make absolutely no sense to me.

Glad the series wasn't cancelled after this arc. It was ok but it was a bit of a struggle to get through. No payoff with the grandfather and just seemed to introduce an antagonist for no real reason. Saionji would have been more interesting as a yuri love interest. Except for being destestable...
