Oh man it's been a while now, hope somebody will pick this up again someday. As of this month 78 chapters released and a spin-off series.

Yeah I don't like this pairing. Harada is kinda an asshole. He still thinks FMC is like how she was and took credit for changes he doesn't think she made and is still plotting. They're similar but it's kinda gross she lied to her and tries to a act like he's telling the truth but still lying. Think the NTR sensei is better for him because she knows he's kinda a coward and hasn't done anything to really change FMC.

... Ugh... It's weird. Obviously, the end result is supposed to be positive (except for Shimada-sensei).

But...I feel that's ultimately bad because of how it happened. Sumire hasn't overcome her past. She is tangled up in it. She is now resolving to move past it? Okay, I guess. In any realistic situation, that would be unlikely. The author can just hand-wave it away and say she has moved on, but in reality, after two years of isolation and failure, that would be difficult.

And then there's Ninomiya. Yes, she's regretful for what she previously did, and that's why she tried to support Sumire and did actually apologize to her. But...I wish that Sumire could just straightforwardly say to Ninomiya no, I do not accept your apology. I'm fine with Sumire trying to move on, but Ninomiya doesn't deserve to feel the relief of thinking that she was forgiven.

Ninomiya should just accept that she was horrible, and even if she tries, she can't always be forgiven. That would be better character development.
I mostly agree that Sayuri should know that absolution is a privilege, not a given, but said Sensei seems to gain some satisfaction from one-upping Sayuri at first through stealing her supposed love, then through living in love and happiness.
I'm aware that this kinda reeks of "peace and forgiveness" bullshit on how you'd feel better thru absolving ur abuser, but I don't think it'd portrayed that way, more like Sensei just chose to ignore Sayuri from now on for peace of mind.
Might be unsatisfying for some who wants to see Sayuri get her just desserts. I'm fine either way, as much as I adore this cinnamonroll of a daughter, I kinda hope she acknowledges that she owes Sensei the debt of a lifetime.
