Well, as nice as it would be to have more information on the future of the series, at least we finally got a Bandai kit. I quite like the 30MM and 30MS lines and own several of them, including the Iglight 01. It's nice, I would recommend it as a starter kit.

Grips as a modeler:
  • Even if the model's sprue is "touch gate", use clippers and/or hobby knife if available. Twisting and damaging a part is still a possibility and not all nubs can come off cleanly.
"The kind of person who insists on using nippers because they hate nub marks, even when the kit is meant to be easy"
Truly a girl after my own heart.
  • A hard push-fit which requires using a lot of strength is asking for trouble, no matter how hard the plastic is.
  • If you're gonna do shading with that, I've got two words for you: Citadel Shades.
  • ....Well, I've seen worse paint jobs and conversions elsewhere.
  • Girls, you're lucky those models are not related to a tabletop wargame. YET. I heard about Gundam Assemble.
I got curious about those models so I searched them up. They're not expensive (17€) but i don't know if they can be shipped here... They look interesting.

Bandai's 30 Minutes Label line is nothing short of amazing, not to mention loads of fun. And like Yanmo I insist on using nippers and a hobby knife while building them... which is why it always takes me longer than 30 minutes to build.

So far Bandai's been marketing the 30ML line as sort of their "Lego."

... So what I'd be more worried about is them wandering deeper into the rabbit hole that is customization. It's amazing what people are able to come up with despite not actually mutilating parts.
