I think it's funny that in the new Comic Newtype continuity, Yakumo is a clean freak who diligently dusts her room before starting work on building models. It's been one of the big additions to both chapter 1 and 2 now. She's always moaned about dust and fibres getting on models so it's nice to see her doing something about it.

Yeah, a short anime seems more likely.
While I'd love to see this become an anime, I'm not sure it would be popular.

Japan does have several live action TV series that could be used as an alternate basis if this were to be made into an anime.

I watched the first Ryosangata Riko, It's pretty good. I couldn't get into the second series though.

Wind up zoids are fine in the water they even give you styrofoam ballast to help it float. Battery zoids are just asking for trouble though.

I am just priming some Sisters of Battle when noticed this chapter is up. And yes, priming can be quite the pain but I think part of hers it's because she's doing it on airbrush (or maybe gunplas actually need all those layers?). I find priming spray a more convenient choice even with the waiting time for drying.

On a side, I finally was able to get myself one of those Bandai kits: a 30MM Forestieri 02. Pretty nice, easy to assemble but gluing it's a guessing game as you're never sure what could be safe to glue. Still unpainted, but I guess they're meeting the Chaos Black spray one of these days.
But who the hell is the maniac who designs the sprues' distribution?! Seriously, half the assembly is going from sprue to sprue looking for the pieces.

It's cute girls doing cute things, with "plot necessary" fanservice, which can also serve as advertising for model companies, ala Dagashi Kashi. I don't think it'd be a huge hit, but it wouldn't need to be.
