But Fire Emblems veteran is just good enough for early level boss,
this guy seems to be able to trash a colosseum type that may be more late game contents.
perhaps "A boss character that switch side and got nerf meme?"
the coliseum was mentioned to be exclusively chapter 1 content. I'm guessing this is closer to triangle strategy where you sometimes get side missions not tied to the main plot you can do but if you decide to not do them you lose them OR it's an ever present thing you can do at anytime and as such is at most on par with the chapter 1 final boss (not the thing that kills the Mentor but the thing the MC normally actually has to fight to clear chapter 1)

So what sort of plot device killed him in original timeline, and how much did original MC had to grind to surpass it unless he is also using another plot device to defeat it

for number 3, he is a knight, he can't just do anything he want out of his own will, there's rules to follows.

For number 2, she could just ran off with the initial money. she'll be out of town alrdy while mc is fighting the small fries, then call out to the boss to do his data collecting and power show, how many people he has to beat? and surely it's not in a row, girl has a lot of time to bail.

For number 1, it is the most possible way but then, he gave her his money, himself. people saw the girl being given a bag (of money), but nobody heard anything about, and there was no hint of evidence it's his money for betting on himself, just verbal promises. The girl can avoid being accused of stealing but can't avoid being taken care of in some ways by him tho.

And lastly, you guys are way too serious about this. :pepela:
He himself said that she's an idiot and overly honest and he wants someone easy to handle to do small things, it's part of the plot.
You need to think video game have you never massacred whiterun before? The guy is treating it like a video game and threw out all his knight responsibilities and dipped do you really think he cares about the rules a knight has to follow? He even said the only reason he didn't just run away from his role in the story is because then the world would end.

And just like a video game, your choices affects how the game progress, isn't it? Ever wonder if you play a game where the villains keep escaping? But you know where he is from game knowledge, then you just bam and straight killed him in his sleep after tutorial, game over! The story?? Well none of it can actually happen anymore since you broke the script.

The guy think it is a game because it actually looks like one until he realize later it is his reality now and then. Just wait till he see changes that isn't supposed to happen and by then will have nothing to guide him and must improvise, heck he alrdy is. (leon from mobuseka for example is a good one, he only knows what will happen but he broke the script, but he still manages because of the straight outta cheating luxon).

Him being a gamer or reincarnated will not make him absolutely invincible. There isn't even a save point and extra lives to begin with yes? One mistake, and all his plan will crumble. Sure, he changed his knight members into something else but that doesn't mean they quit being one, he just changed the ways to ensure he survive whatever it is will kill him. If he makes a grave mistake like...destroying or killing something/someone in the town for example, will nobody bat an eye? Will he still be that (former or whatever) knight everyone knows? Won't he be wanted? What will happen to his former squad? will they be ordered to hunt him down? Dude is strong a f and knows the future of that world but he is just a guy who wants to avoid his death, not a mindless demon king.

Just saying, even in games, actions have consequences.

Rules are only as good as your ability to be held to account by them, also if nobody's left alive who's going to tell on him? They don't even have a clue who he is judging by their announcements.

Right, because her not being in the audience watching where he can see her wouldn't be a big red flag to make him go chase her down immediately. He can also very simply observe her placing the bet to start with, he doesn't have to not be watching when she does that.

Again, you're assuming he has to follow the rules and laws of the land, that he has to play nice about everything to solve any problem and use reasoning and logic. My guy he's an OP level 60 character in a world of level 10s and he fully knows how to exploit all of his advantages, any unnamed NP mook in this city who tries to rob him or otherwise come between him and his money is a smear of blood and there is absolutely nothing stopping him from going full murder hobo.

Sure he has his reasons to trust and use her for this task, I'm just saying these knight rules you seem to think he's bound by are merely suggestions and he's not even a knight himself, he's a gamer from earth who thinks this is all a game so it's not like he's even morally bound by them. The only people in this world he can't get away with killing are the hero and his main love interest, maybe the rest of the hero's party too.

1: It's a game world with game abilities and he may have one related to tracking, if not he can also just threaten the local mooks or if all else fails put up wanted posters of her in every city.

2: As I mentioned to the other guy he's fully capable of keeping his eye on her through purely mundane means to observe her placing the bet and then her sitting in the audience. Also wow the trust you guys have for this shady gambling establishment that they'll go out of their way to just bring tens of millions of GP to this woman in another city for her is incredible, even if they did he could simply follow the giant wheelbarrow full of money being moved. I'm half expecting that in the next chapter he'll have to do some threatening to get the winnings from the betting office or crack some skulls as they won't want to honour the bet.

3: Sure but this isn't about what she thinks and why she might try to do it, this is about the MC and his ability to completely put an end to any attempts by her trying to do any sort of robbing him. She's free to try, but he can go full murder hobo in response.
1. Does she realize he might? How sure is he that she realizes he might. If she leaves with the money now, the mooks wouldn't know who she is. And given her intention to gamble, she's clearly okay with making a risky plan. As for wanted posters, he might possibly not be some expert artist capable of drawing an image from memory that's so accurate that only one person in the whole city will match it.

2. He's kind of busy, and is he really going to go out and chase her down when he might have just not found the spot she's sitting in? And I wouldn't trust them to bring money somewhere, but I wouldn't trust her to not trust them to do that.

3. It's entirely about what she thinks and what she may try to do. If she runs without placing the bet, it doesn't matter if he can track her down. He can't place the bet retroactively. Meanwhile, he can just place the bet on himself. You only need to send someone else when you're betting against yourself.
