Out of all the numerous deaths in the series, this one hits the hardest. I'm not sure why- I'm not the biggest Jonathan fan there is, i'd say he the 7th best JoJo out of them all. But this death hits the hardest out of anyone, but I can't put my finger on it.

Am curious, what’s your tier list of the Joestars? The fact that there’s someone lower than Jonathan made me wonder.

But anyway, even though Jonathan is nowhere near the best Joestar, he’s still a very good character. Honestly ranking all the joestars is difficult as they all have unique personalities that make them likable. Jonathan is the perfect manly gentleman who isn’t the only person Dio ever respected and admired.

@nonexistent696969 when erina was talking about the new life inside of her she was talking the unborn in her stomach not the baby she saved form the ship, the unborn baby will be farthering the joestar name. at least thats what i think you were confused about. this is better explained and revealed in part 2.

. Also really unpopular opinion, but Jonathan was my favourite Jojo. He deserved SO much better than he got.

@cblmanga maybe because it's the death of the main character, which almost never happens in anime? They either die in a sequel/spinoff series, or they just live a long life. Very rarely does a character die within his/her own adventure.

This may not be my the best part but I love it. I prefer to read manga over watching anime, so this was the first part I read. It succeeded in getting me invested and the rest is history.
I can understand the hate because the first part most people viewed was part three. However, there is a certain catharsis one can receive from reading it in order.
