He's actually not a good person, he just tries to keep up appearances and goes with everything, all he has is his stand. He thinks he can defeat someone who has the Joestar family mark, Pathetic.

Even if Giorno grew a tree he still couldn't have been able to escape 3-freeze 'cause the pressure is more powerful that a mere piece of wood so the wood would have broken under Giorno's hand. But I guess it's a free pass from Araki since he's the protagonist of this series

once again another hat off to the anime for these starting scenes. it feels more realistic and cultural and theres giorno going around doing deeds for people along the way while he walks around the city. amazing introduction to a character like him who is a jonathan decendant
