Wait there are only 3 more corpse parts to be found. Also when did Hot Pants get the right arm? And can't you just drop any body part into the lake and get the corpse parts for it? Maybe I'm overthinking it.

Another pretty sticky situation. And Johnny just absorbed another corpse part too. Is it time for another evolution?

Bodyguards. Nice thinking Gyro.

the random shitty grey coloring is a bit off putting and shattered my immersion, but still really great chapter

INTERESTING. So they will probably have to trade them to survive. This is very interesting

The only corpse parts the tree could give you were the ones it had. If you dropped a rabbit heart in it would probably just give you a more valuable heart. As others have stated, Hot Pants having the right arm is likely a translation error.

This little arc is one of my favourite arcs in manga, the pacing is incredible, we go from the very fun premise of abusing aesop's honest woodcutter fable, but still having the dramatic irony of having to use everything up, then figuring out the minutia of what using something means, and finding out that spending money is actually hard when you're rich, and while the villain may not be super interesting with him essentially just being a lot of people with guns, him paired up with the trees and the resolution killing two birds with one stone ties it up so perfectly, not even mentioning the actual ending next chapter
