To people confused, the hair clip is a rock insect that made Yasuho hallucinate. The hate texts she received, the dandruff and skin cracks were all illusions. That last talk with her father was also an illusion, that's why you can see the dad disintegrating and the insect laughing. Kira knew it was evil so he knowingly killed it.
