"I'm barging into your office and acting hostile, yet for some reason you are afraid! Suspicious no!?"

I hate when this stuff happens because it just assumes if someones accusing you of shit, you'd never have a reason to be worried whatsoever.

I think what they picked up on was that she was acting cool, while being worried internally, which is kinda an indicator of hiding something. Still a bit flimsy, but this is a series where previously liars have been identified by taste, in the end.

Holy duck, this is already shaping up to be more tense than the last arc! How does Araki do these thing!?
What exactly is Ningbo's stand doing? What will happen on the cruiser, Will Paco make it in time, and the better question, can he take out two stand users with The Hustle?
But, more interesting of all is are we going to see Howler's Stand more? We'll see, we'll see

love how there's like two whole pages of Laem Chabang going "Principal are you afraid? i think you're afraid right now"
"Mrs. Principal why are 'you' afraid?"
"Huh? Afraid? What do you mean?"
"'You' are afraid Mrs. Principal, tell me what is it that 'you' are afraid of?"
"Who is afraid? What are you talking about?"
"'You', Mrs. Principal, 'you' are afraid"
"I don't understand you, lady. Who, in this room right now, is afraid? Can you be clear?"

And they kept going on and on and on...

This chapter was fun, the intensity and stakes are ratcheting up. I knew it was only a matter of time until things started to go badly for our heroes. Its an appropriately teenaged way of thinking for Jodio to think that the state can't be trusted to seize the land, the only ones to be trusted are him and his friends.

I loved Dragona in that suit, what a look!

Still suspecting Laem Chabang and Ningbo are rock humans based on how alien they behave even by JoJo's standards, reminded me of the rock humans in Part 8. They're not good at disguising themselves like Lulu, couldn't be acting more obvious in the scene in Meryl Mei Qi's office. Nematode glasses were extremely creepy though and Ningbo's elephantiasis inspired stand was some classic horrifying Araki grotesquerie.

The information about Charmingman's village makes me wonder if they're also rock humans too, or rock human x human hybrids. I'm trying to remember if humans and rock humans could interbreed from the Jojolion exposition. Spotted some echoes of the Wall Eyes too in the lava tube imagery.

It also looks like Usagi has found a new target in his quest for the perfect top :ROFLMAO:

Is Charmingman a rock human, or some kind of friendlier rock human subspecies/hybrid? Maybe they become more empathetic after interbreeding with normal humans?

I don't think his rough skin and long lifespan (rock humans can live for 240 years), not to mention the "calcification of waste products" being the top cause of death (rock humans crumble into rocks when they die), were just randomly brought up. Then there are also other "rock-life" earthworms and moles in his village, the moles are probably rock animals, while the earthworms could be rock insects.

i think he's probably just a regular rock human. i guess that since the bunch of rock humans around morioh were a syndicate working to profit from rokakaka, they're hostile to the humans (working to undermine their syndicate).
