it doesn't make sense to me, showing themselves to the cameras is proof that someone broke in, and if they're real registered people then they must have some photos on a government database, so to find out wich recording is real you can compare their images

well, they are there to steal something kinda valuable so the fact someone broke in won't be that secret.
and from what I gathered the cameras will be taking different images, but they are sent through the same line so they would end up combined and thus even more confusing in the end
