As someone who works in a bio field, wow, the author really did her research. I'm seriously impressed.

@jackslate You can't really get rid of a toxoplasma infection at the moment, so no point in testing for it unless you're pregnant. If you're pregnant and you do have toxoplasmosis, then you can apparently take a drug that reduces the chances of transmitting the parasite to your unborn child.

If you think Robo's discussion of parasites was gross, try taking a Parasitology class. You'll want to never eat or touch anything, ever again.
...for a couple weeks, that is. Then you'll realize that since parasites are fucking everywhere, you can't really avoid them. Then you stop caring.

So actually, it makes you quite indifferent towards parasites.

Just like PFAS. I spent 3 years researching their remediation.
