Most people don’t know this by the manhua but rather by the TV show. I’m in a younger generation so my parents felt that having me watch the show would be more interesting than reading the story, I didn’t even know this existed until now. I think that’s why most people don’t know this exists, there’s already many adaptations of this story. Plus it’s quite old so a lot of the new younger generation won’t be interested in some story from hundreds of years ago.

Absolutely loved feng shen ji years ago by the same author which is the best manhua for me. Reading this I might be overwhelmed by the details and might need some time to get used to reading

Is there some weird conspiracy online against Cheng Kin Wo's works? From what I can tell, every single one of his manhua on MDex have been absolutely brigaded by 1 star votes (minimum 120 on each one)

I was thinking the same, Read Feng Ji long ago and loved it. Found this a while back and thought it was fake due to the ratings. Looks great to me. Any ideas?

He's from Hong Kong, so my complete shot-in-the-dark guess is that he said something that pissed off the CCP

Or the opposite he said something in support of it

Either way, both of those will get you a lot of hate lol

how come all the stuff from this author is so lowly rated, I read Feng Shen Ji and finished the entire series, it was good

I feel like some people have a hate boner for the author.

oh well, I will read one when it ends, although I am not a big fan of the Chinese 3d animation I might try out the anime.
