the kids getting a party ready (a takopa...!) while the adults on both sides have their debates over what to do about the other side is the most JJK it's been yet lol, as tense as things got it's nice to see even a few of the adults on each side keep fighting to preserve a good future for the next generation in their own way. Also loved the panels leading up to Cross making his decision in the vote, I'd be tired as hell after a decision like that too lol
figured the moments with hooded Yuji were just for flashbacks but considering his background maybe it isn't entirely out of the question that he still looks pretty young in the present day. I wonder why he stepped out of the public eye tho... I hope he isn't suffering the same loneliness Gojo had as the strongest
also a law for sorcerer fights being named after Hakari is a good bit, a shame his attempts to make those a bigger thing didn't pan out lmao

I don't agree with Oski, he is wrong on thinking like that... but I don't fault him on the feeling... his heart is hurt, and he is right too, not like humanity isn't playing for their own side.
But this is a rare opportunity to try something new, it is understandable what both sides have as baggage... and to be clear... I would prioritize my own people just as much, but the effort to try to reach for something that isn't just the same situation but inverted is true strength.... becoming the oppressor and turning a new leaf are not the same.
I didn't expect that Japaloma would prove to be such an understanding guy, his design kinda screams scumbag at first look, even after that falling apart... he especially lost so much close to him, it would be easy for him to have hate inside him and act on it, but even if he "waited" for Cross decision, I think he already had an idea what Cross would chose, he just gave him a subtle push by suporting his decision and putting a little "weight" on his conscience.
I like Usami, he plays out of field well... didn't expect a Hakari Law, our boy left his mark XD. And Usami is sharp, Japaloma and Cross didn't tell him all the details, but just considering his strength(Dabura), he understood there was more to the story, and considered other scenarios.
I still don't have a full picture... but if Dabura is a true special grade, Maru and Cross may be mid-level 1st grade. With the flashback, we know now that Maru is not averse to a fight, however his "unconscious" state works, it is a clear showing of the full brunt of his capacity, he has a strong technique and beyond just solid martial skills.
And... we just got confirmation... our boy Yuuji is alive, and by the looks of it, kicking like a boss still.

The whole thing is more than a bit nonsensical. If aliens came over, the whole world would work on a strategy, not 2 random Japanese mid-level officials. (that would mean Trump and Putin so that's worse but nevermind).
And it should be trivial with future tech to just build an artificial island for them. We can already build those now, and there's only 50k of them iirc. If you're on an island in the Pacific, no one will randomly come and invade you and sharing technology would be in everyone's interest rather than genocide. They do have space travel after all.
If you're gonna copy HxH's wordbuilding through endless exposition, then at least do it right, Gege. As it is, it just feels forced and nothing more than a convoluted setup for a series of duels
