in the end it always comes back to that endless cycle, huh? I like how Gege's retooled the circumstances around it to set up this immigrant story (subtlety is for cowards, etc etc) so I hope he can stick the landing on it. Yuji managed to close the cycle on a more personal scale with Sukuna so I hope that can set up this crew to take it all the way

Yuka being short on stamina did come off as odd in chapter 5 but I didn't think it'd be something as cruel as a brain tumor, made for a hell of a talk with Cross but I hope she can at least shine with the ring before her exit if she can't find a way around this...

also, as fun as it would be seeing the kids take on humanity's hatred and fear to represent growing past fear of the Other and accepting the Simurians to Earth as equals, I would be a liar if I said I wouldn't pop off over Yuji fulfilling his promise and killing Mahito before dipping out lmao

Mahito all laughing after he screwed everything up only for him to stop once he realizes Yuji is behind him :chad:

Subtlety is the tool of the brave... but when abused, it leads to cowardice... especially in times like this.

The immigration topic is not an easy one in any circumstance, but people chicken out of discussing it because they think it will never happen to them.

I like subtlety, it shows mastery over an art... but sometimes you need to throw a rock into someone's window for them to pay attention.
