The one from waterflame looks funny, but if we're picking something with MD logo (which is the cat napping on a book, not the girl which is the default avatar).

I'll pick Shiriushi 1.
Just because the flat simplicity design, exactly 1:1 square dimension and on point with using the MD logo.

Oh yeah of course, honorable mention is the one from ShinobuOshino it really does looks cool, also got square dimension as well, but not quite on point using the MD logo (I mean like it's there but not exactly the center of it).

I really like @Yuellia's animation, though @SoLei's work is also nice!

Looking at the results so far... vote-splitting in action o.o

In a first-past-the-post voting system, people who submitted multiple similar entries are at a disadvantage, eh ^_^;;

I guess I shouldn’t have assumed that they would count as one entry? Maybe it’s just common sense that I don’t have but it would have been nice if that had been clarified in the entry rules

@SoLei I'm actually not really sure about how the entry votes will be counted. Since some entries are grouped together in Zeph's first master link comment, I'd assume that they'd be counted together as well.

@Zephyrus could you clarify? 😅

As I mentioned in the group chat channel, there has never been a restriction on the number of entries someone can submit to a contest. However, each submission will count as a separate entry.

I will make this clear in future contests so there is not any confusion.

I'd like it if Yuellia's just... smiled a bit, just on the corners of her mouth or something. Girl, manga is one of life's greatest pleasures! But it's still my pick. Love it nonetheless.

Thanks to everyone that participated in this contest! I'm glad this particular contest was left open to the public because I'm not sure if staff would have been able to choose an animated icon without war breaking out.
