Hahaha well, it's true, what she said here are the typical lines that some girl (usually the FL) tells some guy (usually the ML) and then he magically falls for her, at times cheaply and in random situations that aren't in real need of those but here, idk, I guess Kyung really needed to hear that. I think he really doesn't understand what's his life, he didn't understand what's his purpose was even before knowing that all this was a set-up and now is just getting worse. His emotions are real, but what about the else? And what's the point in thinking that if even fantasy is horrible?
