@givemersspls afaik japanese classes are basically spelling, grammar and vocabulary, while literature is reading comprehension and analysis. One time I was in a classroom in HK and they were handing out essays in chinese class, and the test was literally a sheet of paper full of squares for you to write each individual kanji (or however they're called in chinese), and i think they were evaluated on kanji level and composition
Ok, I can recognize Discord, the Switch and the game played on it (Fitness Boxing), but what the hell is that controller? It looks like an unholy union between the PS4 and XBox controller, maybe an Switch/Wii U Pro controller?
@givemersspls it was in hk so im pretty sure it was cantonese
i know pretty much nothing about japanese but i dont think its a bad writing system. I think about it as a victim of its circumstances, i mean they literally applied japanese rules and vocab to chinese characters, so its like trying to speak a language through another. It's stupid convoluted and hard to learn, but the end goal of language is to be a communication tool, and i dont think it fails at that, plus there are times where you can add another level of depth that other languages may not be able to reach
@Rift
In their case, is it only possible to conceive ?
Because of gender change everyday, the fertilized ovum should die due to disappearance of female organs...
@Mikey It looks like the form factor of a Switch Pro Controller, but my guess would be just a generic USB controller for PC use. Or the author just decided "As long as it looks like a controller I'll run with it."
@givemersspls Hmm, never knew Japanese isn't tonal and to be more accurate never thought about it because my native language is. It seemed to me like it is a given than language will use that property to distinguish certain words. Apparently, neither English nor French are tonal and till now, I never thought about it while learning them.
