I wonder if your fast enough, you can save someone from having their head fully deflate or maybe isolate and strengthen an area to mitigate the damage due to deflation. Also, if I pop somebody's head, not their hanging balloon, what happens to their hanging balloon?

Ito thinks that the only way to write an "open" ending is to not write an ending at all

Too short for the horror feeling.

My thoughts: even if it's short, it does add to the horror of the original story a bit. Still no explanation, and the little they were able to learn just adds even more questions. Though I wonder why Ito decided to make a sequel to this story in particular...

Thanks. I've read all of them and too bad this is just short manga. There is no explanation for the hanging ballons.
