More seriously, the two of them continue to be sweet as sugar together. Ferris' gradual transition toward learning basic manners and common sense and getting an education should be a fun journey to witness, especially with how enthusiastic she is. The moments when her trauma resurfaces (like when she and Alicia were separated for a time during their shopping trip) still bring heart pangs, but I'm hopeful that the author won't put her (or really either of them) through anything too terrible. (I realize she's got world-ending summons that are chomping at the bit to be let loose by her, but even then....I'm kinda thinking they'll remain faithful to her, if a bit enthusiastic themselves about asking for a longer leash whenever they're called upon.)

Thanks for continuing the series, though. Really enjoying this one, and I'm excited to see more. Like Daniela's quip about magicians--it seemed important enough that I wonder now about the composition of their society, and the reputation overall of magicians compared to non-magic-users. Seems like there's potential for some deep worldbuilding ahead, and I can't wait.

The "Suggestive" tag is putting in work a bit more over time. It's definitely not referencing adults considering LN volume 7 still has the MC about the same age. This casually exploitative art style is going to stay then? I want to cheer for the premise and plot but my patience will probably run out even with the very borderline 'fanservice' at this level. Hook or drop needs a few more chapters for me.

No shade on you, fellow readers. Different tolerance levels. I'll check out the LN at least.
