i just really fail to see why i should give a shit about these initial sins. we're learning nothing interesting about the characters that actually matters. we had this entire manga leading up to this point to flesh out the villains more and we chose not to because its fine if they're one dimensional bastards, that's the type of manga that this is. to try and do this last minute to make them more interesting just feels like padding.
