I could see him killing off Azuma but in a way that is unsatisfying to Kyou which in a way "defeats" him since he's specifically looking for suffering and desperation in his victims and if Azuma goes out like a champ (not reacting and just silently passing) then Kyou doesn't get his rocks off like he wants and might start making rash decisions to try and rile Uruma up again which will lead to his downfall.

The Reo stuff is the real red herring, it might come up in the end as some weird swerve but ultimately won't actually amount to anything meaningful or will be completely inconsequential (like the stupid VR arc that didn't actually change anything except stall for time).

Alternatively, since they just established that the drug is the same one used for the Kaname clones it means he has an out for writing that Azuma just becomes mind broken similar to Kaname. Momoki did after all say that it's the same drug and some were successful implying that failure isn't guaranteed. "Azuma" is killed by virtue of her becoming "Kaname" but then they eventually figure out how to deprogram her so she gets her happy ending. At this point anything can happen, where will the dart hit when the author is figuring out what "twist" to implement next.

Na he's gonna kill her, I bet he will. This fucker thinks he he has to one up us with "shocking" developments not realizing he will have nothing left in the end.

Like I said, Azuma ain't gonna die. In fact, her plot armor ends up killing the one who messed with her.

Uruma really has devolved to the point of being a passenger in this story. He has spent the entire arc kinda just watching things happen.

It all started with that VR asspull. Since then bro is literally just watching people die and moaning about it from the sidelines.

It's Reo, from the cult island arc (also where the gravure model was introduced who died via blood drainage a few chapters ago). One of the big bads at the island was her adoptive father who picked up her and her sister from an orphanage before practicing Wife Husbandry (she fell in love with him because of how "kind" he was).

She confesses to him but he turns her down and later that night she overhears what she thinks is him and her sister fucking in the room next to her so she gives up and assumes he loves her sister instead of her. The next morning she finds out he was torturing and raping her and told her he adopted them to watch them suffer and despair.

She was basically there to act as a mirror to Uruma (she's basically Uruma with tits) to show where his obsession with Kyou will lead him except she actually had gumption and tortured/killed her adopted father and never fell for any of his tricks (Uruma also helped). She then fucked off on her own after the arc was over meaning she avoided the stupid love triangle bullshit that happened after that arc as well making her the best female character in the series thus far.
