This reminds me of Hepatica (Misu Misou), although the grandfather there wasn't like this one

I think I like how the author stretched the idea of "kids or teenagers suddenly picking up on others" and combined it with psychopathic tropes.

Same goes for like 90% of the movies out there. Love the idea how advanced alien civilizations are all using the same type of UFO look the same and have the same goal: to eradicate humanity. Love the idea of how we are stretching the whole idea about tricks and stuff into the whole magic with mana and element. Love how authors stretch the idea how demons can be both kind and evil and etc. It's a fiction. It's not documentary.

You would think that the asshole that was throw off a cliff in front of a car would resent the other kid if not just straight fear him, but he seems fine while he mauls the lil bro with a rock and burns down the car?

hey I hope I'm not too late, but you shouldn't read this. It starts good but completely throws away the premise and gets to absolute shit

I don't like the premise but if it goes to shit does that mean it gets better?

I can never understand these revenge stories. Like, we don't know anything about his family for us to care. If I wanted wish fulfillment I'd just look at porn. If I wanted to feel bad and angry at people I'd just look at Reddit or Twitter.

The cover art looked cool though.

Also, I'm pretty sure getting filthy rich is much more amazing or impressive. I'm pretty sure whatever Jeff Bezos is much more amazing than killing someone; Bezos has probably indirectly killed more people than this kid can even hope to imagine, anyway.

The main villain in this is one of the most shallow antagonists I have ever seen. He is literally evil for the sake of lols and the author wants me to take this seriously? And black and white morality is probably just about the most shallow trope in all of literature and the author seems to be making that a main theme here.

I guess the comments here are filled with the sorts of people who think "character depth" = "redemption" and just want to live out a fantasy where they torture and murder their middle school bullies, so that's probably the target audience, but...
