The author should've written this in a fantasy setting with magic since it's way easier to cover the plot holes, I think the author bites more than he can chew. He probably thinks it was a nice idea to write real-world crime mystery/revenge porn but unfortunately, he didn't have enough intelligence or common sense to pull it off. He basically put himself in the corner and just write whatever to fill his weekly chapter quota.

Really, what the fuck? This is worse than the school, the amnesia arc, every goofy thing that’s ever happened in this manga. This guy is just speed running the worst story in the world.

Why did Reo want to fuck her stepdad? Why was one crush enough to estrange her from the sister she was raised with for years? Why did Noumi spend a year raising two children only to fucking KILL one? Being a “LOL Psycho killer” doesn’t cut it. Why was all of this condensed into ONE chapter? Why is this motherfucker not in JAIL?

I’ll give the author credit, he managed to have neither girl raped. A rare feat.

Though you jest, those three countries still pose a danger, but it's more of a question of whom is it a danger too.
If you're a foreigner/ethnically different from them, then I'd suggest reading and watching foreigner stories on it; if it's about women, unreported SA crimes go unreported; if it's on the homeless, they treat you as if you don't exist, and that's one of the preferred outcomes, cause then it'd be homeless hunting or state-sanctioned violence.
Point being, those East Asian countries usually are idealized as the "best" countries (not so much China, but you probably got the point); as a bonus, I'll leave this snippet of info
If you're visiting one of these contries, and if worse comes to and you're caught trying to protect yourself in those countries, you're pretty screwed court-wise as those countries tend to be anti self-defense and preferring their citizens over foreigners, even if you're in the right.
