Ok, but why did he left them escape. If he was knocked out or smt ok, but they coukd have contniue fighting, he just left them left for the sake of plot.

Marking this chapter as the end of pre timeskip for me. It totally could’ve ended here as he kills Shigoku and satisfies his cause. The revenge focused plot was generally fast paced, whimsical, and satisfying. I like how the story never really made an effort to adhere to real-world societal structure. I’d give up to here an 8/10.
