Goddamn, this is so cathartic. Yeeesss Zail, tell off that asshole dad of yours~~
I've always had a massive soft spot for big, muscular characters being supported, both figuratively and literally, like Garron had been by Mikage and Tina this chapter.
So the blood pact doesn't state anything about Mikage and Tina at all? Or does conveying that those two are working with a demon infringes on point 1 regardless? And what about Karro? But then again, I'm sure Zail will make sure that absolutely anything won't get out anway.
I'm guessing the human that taught Garron to become a doctor is the long red-haired girl in this volume's cover? Does that mean we're getting her story in this volume too?
Wonder if Young!Garron was much, much stronger than Present!Garron. Young!Garron nearly killed Gareus and gave the rest of Sesame's party members a hard time while fighting current Gareus, who's dying, left Present!Garron almost out of energy. Maybe Present!Garron had gone rusty because he's mainly practicing and researching medicines now instead of fighting? Or maybe his body's been too wrecked since he barely pays attention to his own body? I'm tempted to say that it's because 20 years have passed, but in most fantasy genres like this manga, time alone doesn't significantly affect demons physically.
Hope we see Zail again in stories after this.
Small typo on page 15 third panel "...If you've got something you want to me hear", fourth panel "I want (to) hear" and page 32 first panel "and I can't do a damn thing about (it.)"
