On the flip side, at least anyone who starts fresh won't have to worry about consistency issues with the previous work?Worst thing about deleting chapters, is the fact that new scanlator has to redo already done and available on other sites chapters. Which is very demotivating.

I'm really tempted, because I've been catching up in Japanese and really enjoying it...but I've also been outta the game for like 20 years...knowing why it was pulled (was it licensed or something?) would be nice.
The problem with declaring something to be the "next dungeon meshi" is that is has a lot of weight to it. This is trying to tell a very different story than DM was, both being interesting in their own way. There are similarities, of course, but drawing too close of a line between them does a disservice to both.I want to declare this the next 'dungeon meshi' kind of manga but this is even better. Or at least the same. This got so many potential to be a long story with the larger scale. But can be shorter because the main cast is very competent people.
I can get this series high rating just because the female's clothing looks practical, not a lewd bait like in most fantasy (usually trash isekai) manga. Surprisingly it's so well thought out with the world building setting (the monster, dungeon, and the people's psychological state). It's a solid 10/10
My bad. That's not my intention. It's the quickest way to explain my impression to the both series. I have high respect to both. The problem with declaring something to be the "next dungeon meshi" is that is has a lot of weight to it. That aside, this is easily a 9/10, maybe 10/10, manga. Looking forward to reading more! The scanlation group has been doing an excellent job so far.
No, but both of our main typesetters are out of commission in the short term. Attempts at finding a way to improvise are underway, but taking a little time, because by "improvise" I basically mean "I'm learning to do it to fill the gap".Is the translation dead?
