Super OP person (Monika?) looks like a woman mage knight (page 7). I think given what we can infer from the harem tag, she will be joining the harem eventually after a fight or "misunderstanding". Also, isn't our MC a paladin/mage knight too? Monika probably has the same class or is a secret admirer (if the cliche holds).
But really the entire problem/issue can be traced back to Tabatha the guild girl failing her job. She seems to be an epic fail of a guild receptionist thus far. Like how bad does one have to be at their job by failing to communicate basic job description and advising/disclosing the job hazards?
For a "hero's party", Tabatha sure didn't give much of an effort to investigate or mediation to manage the party's grievance. One would think the guild would at least put an effort to keep the hotshot party together lest they end up harming the guild's reputation and/or revenue if they split.
In a competent organization built on trust, if Ellie bothered reporting Roland to the guild for his rpe attempt, he would be blacklisted or at the very least suspended pending an investigation. Of course, again - this is all depending on Tabatha doing her job.

Japan as a patriarchal society with an emphasis on stoicism really don't give a shi* about women in legal and society outside of homes. And for men sexually assaulting women... well, it is considered a shame on the woman and her family for not protecting her chastity. Kind of amazing Japan now has a woman as PM, but her policies are kind of insane to a normal person.
On the other side, IIRC it wasn't even a crime for women to sexually assault men until more recent changes to the laws... So I expect Ellie to assert her dominance.

In the previous chapter, he wasn't curious about Ellie at all after learning that she was eager to go to him and that Roland lied.
I was hoping he would be more furious after learning the truth straight from Ellie. I'm so disappointed at him.

I just hope he will properly accept her now.

Both MC and the "Hero" has problem and they're both worst, hero lies about being useless and in the way of love about his CF and Hero and the stupid MC assumes easily and believed that without consenting CF about Hero kicking him out. My beef wouldn't even be how much they use them, but how much they poorly use them, like "oh look rape! anyways..."
Never with the nuances that these things should have when used in a story.

That only really happens in the manga form, in the novel versions the rape always seem to happen and it has a devastating effect on the character for quite some time.

First of all props to you for being the only one to comment on one of the best girls
Second, about her... Yes, she will join them very soon. She is like an sexy older sister type of girl, "Onee-san", let's say it like that. She loves Alex a lot, and is the most aggressive and open one about it. I think he saved her life once, or something like that... I'll have to double check that.
And third, her class is Magic Knight, she's basically an offensive version of Alex's Paladin class...



Btw. this whole Ellie scene is almost 1:1 as in the WN, but a big difference is the ending of it. In the WN she meet Grace and Stella, the Priestess, together. She told them what Roland tried to do to her, and they left his party and cut ties with him immediately. Interesting that the changed this and dropped Stella completely from this scene.

Lot of people complaining about attempted rape being trivialized when there are only two outcomes possible in manga: it gets forgotten early after beating the perpetrator or turns the girl into a super man-hating lesbian that gets a free pass for beating men because they looked at her.
