not sure which other story you´re referring to but i would expect such a thing to either drift into yuri slop or become a boring cooking show after the initial ideas start fading. I can´t speak for others, but i for one am not hating on this because of the harem but because of 90+ % of these stories being generic trash without any hint of good ideas, good writing or good themes. It´s especially frustrating if you think about the fact that talented translators may waste their time with this slop and overlook the good stuff.

Its really really easy to take the growing 'kicked out of my party' trope and make a terrible manga with it, this one at two chapters is no exception.

The artwork isnt bad and the character designs are nice - after that its all cringetown population this author. Okay so hes overpowered with a rare class and is thrust into a situation where he happens to kill a important enemy gaining the favor of.....the author, but how frickan arbitrary is it for the MC to immediately be given the power......pokethot?
